UPENDRA KUSHWAHA MAY JOIN JANATA DAL(U) ONCE AGAIN
After Bihar Assembly election, Rashtriya Lok Samta party chief Upendra Kushwaha had met JD(U) National president and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The speculation of this meeting is that after RLSP’s consecutive dismal performance in 2015 Vidhan Sabha and 2019 Lok Sabha polls and 2020 Bihar assembly election, Upendra Kushwaha has been left no option but to join JD(U). The interesting point is that Nitish and Kushwaha share a same OBC Koeri-Kurmi vote base and it would be no surprise if they rejoin forces. (IPA)
