Delhi Capitals (DC) rallied behind Shikhar Dhawan’s gutsy batting in their bid to overhaul the target of 138 runs set up by MI. After losing the early wicket of Prithvi Shaw (7 runs off 5 balls), Steve Smith and Shikhar Dhawan stitched together a crucial partnership to keep the scoreboard ticking. However, Kieron Pollard soon removed Smith to bring MI back in the game. Till reports last came in, DC were 83 runs for the loss of two wickets in 12 overs with Dhawan and Lalit Yadav at the crease.
