LUCKNOW: For the first time in so many years, Congress Party appears to be in revival mode to take on BJP in 2027 assembly elections. In Uttar Pradesh.. Congress Party is seriously implementing the agenda through Sangathan Srijan programs all over the state to set up booth level units from villages to state capital.
Addressing the senior leaders, district presidents and coordinators AICC President M Kharge through virtual meeting said the revival of the party of UP was must to dislodge BJP in coming elections. Talking about importance of UP, AICC president said the road to Delhi went by the state only. He further said that UP was not only a state but soul of Congress.
Kharge said that party should be revived through mass contact in time bound manner from village to state capital. He further said that each and every party worker was backbone of party. “Congress workers and leaders should sink their differences and work for rebuilding the party” Kharge appealed.
AICC president said that UP played important role in 2024 polls to prevent BJP from getting majority in Lok Sabha. Kharge said that he was confident that his party will force government to break 50 percent formula for reservation and at the same time ensure reservation in Private Institutions.
UPCC president Ajay Rai repeatedly said that his party work in all the 405 assembly constituencies of state for 2027 assembly polls. He made it clear that decision for alliance will be taken by the high command. At the same UPCC president that party will contest Panchayat polls independently. He also said party workers who would do well in panchayat polls would be considered for assembly polls.
Meanwhile series of programs and meetings are being held in all over the state to identify good and efficient workers through Sangathan Srijan scheme. There is a great amount of enthusiasm in workers especially in youth to associate with Congress.
UPCC is also organising Samvidhan Bachao conference all over the state with experts explaining the threat perception of possible changes by BJP government. Congress is giving masses that interests and rights of members of scheduled castes scheduled tribes.
Congress is also busy in giving the impression to masses that it was the continuous campaign by Rahul Gandhi which forced Modi government to agree the demand for caste census. Fed up with experiment of alliance with different political parties Congress leaders and workers are enthusiastically working for revival of party organisation at grass-root level.
They are looking forward to Rahul Gandhi campaign for caste census and Samvidhan Bachao movement in UP in future which could generate great enthusiasm in Congress leaders and workers. (IPA Service)
