Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have thwarted a significant terror operation in Poonch, uncovering a large stockpile of weapons and explosives. This discovery took place during an ongoing search operation in the Surankote region, a sensitive area close to the Line of Control (LoC), which has long been a hotbed for cross-border militancy.

The joint operation, led by the Indian Army and local police forces, targeted a known terrorist hideout in the Bahian Wali village. The mission resulted in the recovery of advanced weaponry, including AK-series assault rifles, grenades, and other explosives. The recovered arsenal underscores the high level of preparedness among terror networks operating in the area.
