In a development to the sex video scandal involving JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna in Karnataka, the National Commission for Women (NCW) on Thursday said that one of the woman complainants in the case has accused three men dressed as police officials, of threatening her to lodge a “false complaint”.
The woman said that she was forced by a group of three people claiming to be cops to lodge a false complaint after being threatened with harassment.
Following NCW’s revelation, former Karnataka Chief Minister and JD(S) state President HD Kumaraswamy on Thursday accused the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case of threatening the victims with prostitution to extract false statements.
