Modi’s comments follow the BJP’s significant electoral victory in Haryana, which he used to suggest a nationwide trend in favor of his party. Referring to Congress’s tactics, the Prime Minister claimed that the opposition aimed to divide Hindus and create societal rifts, particularly by sowing fear among the Muslim community to secure votes. Modi argued that the Congress’s approach harms national unity and has no regard for long-term development goals, focusing instead on power dynamics.
