Exit Poll results for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 are set to be out on Saturday following the conclusion of the last phase of the polling, which marks the end of the marathon polling process that began on April 19. Though the counting of votes will be taken up on June 4, television channels and news outlets will be able to run exit poll data and its results today after 6.30 pm, as per Election Commission’s guidelines.
Exit polls will give an idea of how India voted in the 18th general elections. So far, political analysts like Prashant Kishor and Yogendra Yadav have provided their predictions for the electoral outcome of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, adding to the anticipation.
While, Kishor predicted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the incumbent BJP government to another victory, with the party potentially matching or surpassing its 2019 seat tally of 303, Yadav suggested that the saffron party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) may face challenges in achieving a decisive victory.
Exit polls are an indication of how people voted in an election. The results are based on interviews with voters right after they exit the polling stations.
