A total of four persons have been arrested so far. A complaint was filed on Thursday night, and the Kasba police station arrested three people in connection with the incident. They were identified as Manojit Mishra, 31, Zaib Ahmed, 19, and Pramit Mukhopadhyay, 20. They were produced before court and sent to police custody till July 1.
Pinaki was also charged with the gang-rape provision of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Meanwhile, a medico-legal examination of the victim will be done today.
