Union Minister Kalraj Mishra may be dropped from the cabinet because he is above the age of 70 years and another Minister Ananth Kumar may be sent back to Karnataka due to the Assembly elections next year, Radha Mohan Singh, Vijay Goel and Upendra Kushwaha will be dropped from the cabinet because of their poor performance and their report card is not up to the mark. The buzz is that Upendra Kushwaha is not comfortable with Nitish Kumar. Rajiv Pratap Rudy will be dropped because the party wants him in the organisation. Smriti Zubin Irani will continue as Cabinet Minister for information and broadcasting and 2 JD(U) MP and 2 AIADMK MPs, will be inducted into Modi’s Cabinet., when the reshuffle takes place.
THREE CENTRAL MINISTRIES MAY BE MERGED
Modi Government is planning to form a common ministry. Under which the Railway, Transport and Civil Aviation Ministry will under one ministry and this change will help in taking the decision process faster, in terms of efficiency, Job creation and as believed by them it will control and lessen the expenditure comparatively. Under such hierarchy, there will be one Cabinet Minister and 3 state ministers who will handle these ministries. Reports say that Nitin Gadkari will head this new merged ministry.
BIHAR CONGRESS WORKERS NOT HAPPY WITH RJD RALLY ON AUGUST 27
Ghulam Nabi Azad had visited Patna to attend Lalu Yadav’s rally on 27 August but no senior Bihar Congress leader came to receive him. Congress PCC Chief Ashok Chaudhary did not get the chance to speak in the rally and he only read the message of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi No Congress flags were there in the city as well in the rally. Congress workers are not happy the way they were treated in the rally.
HARYANA CHIEF MINISTER KHATTAR MAY HAVE TO LEAVE FINALLY
Birender Singh will become the chief minister of Haryana after the cabinet reshuffle in place of Manohar Lal Khattar. The buzz is that Birender Singh met party president Amit Shah to discuss the overall political situation in Haryana and also gave the feedback. Party President Amit Shah is upset the way chief minister had handled the sitation. The BJP workers are annoyed with the CM. To pacify their annoyance the BJP high command is thinking of making Birender Singh te Chief Minister of Haryana. According to sources, many Haryana BJP MPs and MLAs have already complained to the high command that under the chief ministership of Manohar Lal Khattar BJP cannot win the assembly election and 2019 lok Sabha election. On the other hand Rao Inderjit Singh is lobbying hard to become the chief minister of Haryana. 25 MLA are supporting him.
AHMAD PATEL’S FOLLOWERS ARE SHIFTING LOYALTIES
Political Secretary of Congress President Ahmad Patel’s loyalists gradually has shifted their loyalty. The former Rajya Sabha MP Meen Afzal who was known as Ahmad Patel loyalist, now has shifted his loyalty to Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad. Meen Afzal who came from Urdu background is now hobnobbing with Ghulam Nabi Azad and he knocks the door of Ghulam Nabi Azad twice in a day. Another Muslim face Shakeel- Ansari also shifted his loyalty from Ahmad Patel to Digvijay Singh. The buzz is that former general secretary Dr Shakeel Ahmed has already left the Ahmad Patel camp long ago. According sources Rashid Alvi and Imran Kidwai are feeling uncomfortable and they might leave the Congress. The profile of Ahmad Patel has come down since the Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has emerged as the next congress president ready to take over as a Party President in November.
AMIT SHAH GIVES GUIDELINES TO YOGI ADITYANATH
BJP President Amit Shah recently visited Lucknow and met Sangh Pracharaks and Sangh Vicharaks to discusws the Lok Sabha polls and to take the feed back of the party. Sangh Pracharaks have told Amit Shah that party workers are not happy the way Yogi Adityanath is handling the state and also told that party workers grievance are not heard by the chief minister. Amit shah has instructed Yogi to meet the cabinet ministers one day in a week and give time for 2 days in a week to BJP district presidents of the state. (IPA)
